Halloween 2007








Well we made it through our first holiday of the season. I realized that last night was the first time that I have actually taken the children out trick-or-treating in the neighborhood Ever. We usually just do the trunk-or-treat at church, and Grandma and Grandpa's house, and our neighborhood in CA was not that great so we never went there. There is a reason for this!! After about 15 minutes of going door to door O was so tired of walking she was just laying in people's driveways and C was chanting "This is boring" over and over. K loved every minute of it and at almost every house found a friend from school. Needless to say we have a TON of candy and will all need multiple fillings when all is said and done. Hope everyone had a good and safe holiday... now is crunch time for Christmas!

Hey O and K had the exact costume on. They all look really cute. I loved C costume.

What great costumes! I've never taken my kids door-to-door either... we've always lived places where people don't really do that. :P

Today we went to our new ward.  We still have one more week in our current ward but we just wanted to check it out, get our faces known, and possibly drum up some help to unload a moving truck in a couple weeks. Can I just say it was amazing!  We've been to this ward before when Chris was on the High Council so there were a few familiar faces.  That wasn't the amazing part... Today is Chris Birthday! I'm awful about making plans and doing things for him so this year I have tried my best to be better. We are having a small party if you will , with some friends tonight and having his favorite apple cake with caramel topping. Sometimes life changes and we are all trying to catch up

From day one I could tell there was something different about L...he is my 4th child and right from the start I could tell.  I didn't know I could tell.  I knew he was different from my other kids but I didn't have a clue as to why, or what our future would bring. L was my most sweet baby.  All babies are sweet you say, all babies are different.  I know all babies are sweet but I mean this baby was SWEET.  He slept through the night almost from day one, to a mom 6 hours is like an eternity so I'm calling it through the night.  He rarely cried.  When he did and all the normal boxes were checked, feeding, changing, hot/cold, he just wanted to be left alone.  He would lay for hours on the floor on a blanket and watch life happen.  Then he would just fall asleep and take a nap and it was wonderful.  Being a mom of many kiddos it was like this baby was sent to me on purpose to make it easy.  Usually I have a baby and think "I'm not eve...
