Just Another Snowy Day


Not much happening around here. Just another snowy day. It's supposed to snow all day so we will see how much we get. So far not much. I've been sewing up a storm here, I've had 5 purse orders just this week. I'm not complaining because I love it. (and the extra dinero is not bad too.) O has her first loose tooth! She is really excited but doesn't like to wiggle it because she says it hurts. C is suffering from a cold YUCK at least it's not the stomach flu, which has been going around in our ward. K is excited about a daddy daughter night at activity days in a couple of weeks. I'm hoping to get Chris to take pictures of that but it's a 70's theme and you know how it is "what happens at a daddy daughter dance, stays at a daddy daughter dance." He's not much for dancing. There is a Daddy daughter dance coming up at the rec center for Valentine's day and I am trying to get Michael and K to go. But he is not as excited as I am.

Today we went to our new ward.  We still have one more week in our current ward but we just wanted to check it out, get our faces known, and possibly drum up some help to unload a moving truck in a couple weeks. Can I just say it was amazing!  We've been to this ward before when Chris was on the High Council so there were a few familiar faces.  That wasn't the amazing part... Today is Chris Birthday! I'm awful about making plans and doing things for him so this year I have tried my best to be better. We are having a small party if you will , with some friends tonight and having his favorite apple cake with caramel topping. Sometimes life changes and we are all trying to catch up

From day one I could tell there was something different about L...he is my 4th child and right from the start I could tell.  I didn't know I could tell.  I knew he was different from my other kids but I didn't have a clue as to why, or what our future would bring. L was my most sweet baby.  All babies are sweet you say, all babies are different.  I know all babies are sweet but I mean this baby was SWEET.  He slept through the night almost from day one, to a mom 6 hours is like an eternity so I'm calling it through the night.  He rarely cried.  When he did and all the normal boxes were checked, feeding, changing, hot/cold, he just wanted to be left alone.  He would lay for hours on the floor on a blanket and watch life happen.  Then he would just fall asleep and take a nap and it was wonderful.  Being a mom of many kiddos it was like this baby was sent to me on purpose to make it easy.  Usually I have a baby and think "I'm not eve...
