Lazy Saturday

Today has been a lazy Saturday. The kids let us sleep in Horray! I've sent Chris out to do all the errands today and am still in my PJ's It's nice when you don't have to step foot out of the house. The girls have been having another beauty day and have actually been putting on makeup! As you can see from the pics we definantly need some lessons when the time comes for actual makeup!


O had her feelings hurt half way through her makeover and decided to wipe everything off. Her loss.

Just when I was thinking, "at least the boy doesn't have makeup on!"
He resisted as long as he could. At least it's only chap stick.
My crew loves to strike a pose. Now they are going to do a fashion show. I don't know what that entails exactly but we'll see. Happy weekend to you all.

Very cute. K is already trying on my make up. She was so excited at halloween because I bought her own make up for the night.

I love that last picture. Your kids are really cute. I can't wait to see you all again.

Love the make up shot. I remember wearing it like that too. Thank goodness someone taught me how to wear it. The last shot it great. I have some times when D has come down with sparkly lips and finger nails painted. What fun that is.

No Chris did not wig out. He's very laid back about it. As long as he still prefers trucks, guns and action movies.

Today we went to our new ward.  We still have one more week in our current ward but we just wanted to check it out, get our faces known, and possibly drum up some help to unload a moving truck in a couple weeks. Can I just say it was amazing!  We've been to this ward before when Chris was on the High Council so there were a few familiar faces.  That wasn't the amazing part... Today is Chris Birthday! I'm awful about making plans and doing things for him so this year I have tried my best to be better. We are having a small party if you will , with some friends tonight and having his favorite apple cake with caramel topping. Sometimes life changes and we are all trying to catch up

From day one I could tell there was something different about L...he is my 4th child and right from the start I could tell.  I didn't know I could tell.  I knew he was different from my other kids but I didn't have a clue as to why, or what our future would bring. L was my most sweet baby.  All babies are sweet you say, all babies are different.  I know all babies are sweet but I mean this baby was SWEET.  He slept through the night almost from day one, to a mom 6 hours is like an eternity so I'm calling it through the night.  He rarely cried.  When he did and all the normal boxes were checked, feeding, changing, hot/cold, he just wanted to be left alone.  He would lay for hours on the floor on a blanket and watch life happen.  Then he would just fall asleep and take a nap and it was wonderful.  Being a mom of many kiddos it was like this baby was sent to me on purpose to make it easy.  Usually I have a baby and think "I'm not eve...
