Family Unplugged

This week our ward is doing a Family Unplugged week. You know the drill no cell phones, computer, radio, TV etc... Obviously we are having a little trouble, 3 posts and it's only 10:30am. Anyway the kids are playing with a friend it's not like I'm gonna go down and play Lego's anyway.

Yesterday my father-in-law was released from his calling as Bishop of his ward. O called him last night to chat and see how he was doing. When she got off the phone she told me that Papa was aleased from his calling. I asked her to repeat that because I love when kids mispronounce things, so she said, "He got aleased from his calling, you know mom it's kinda like getting out of jail". Thought I'd share that with you. Sometimes I think kids nail it.

How cute. I love hearing the new pronounciations of words. AJ is saying more everyday and its so fun to think of what he is saying and getting it right. Have fun this week. I dont know if I could do it.

Good luck with that! When our kids get into trouble,they're unplugged instead of grounded.

Today we went to our new ward.  We still have one more week in our current ward but we just wanted to check it out, get our faces known, and possibly drum up some help to unload a moving truck in a couple weeks. Can I just say it was amazing!  We've been to this ward before when Chris was on the High Council so there were a few familiar faces.  That wasn't the amazing part... 34 Reasons Why I Love You

Today is Chris Birthday! I'm awful about making plans and doing things for him so this year I have tried my best to be better. We are having a small party if you will , with some friends tonight and having his favorite apple cake with caramel topping. Sometimes life changes and we are all trying to catch up

From day one I could tell there was something different about L...he is my 4th child and right from the start I could tell.  I didn't know I could tell.  I knew he was different from my other kids but I didn't have a clue as to why, or what our future would bring. L was my most sweet baby.  All babies are sweet you say, all babies are different.  I know all babies are sweet but I mean this baby was SWEET.  He slept through the night almost from day one, to a mom 6 hours is like an eternity so I'm calling it through the night.  He rarely cried.  When he did and all the normal boxes were checked, feeding, changing, hot/cold, he just wanted to be left alone.  He would lay for hours on the floor on a blanket and watch life happen.  Then he would just fall asleep and take a nap and it was wonderful.  Being a mom of many kiddos it was like this baby was sent to me on purpose to make it easy.  Usually I have a baby and think "I'm not eve...
