Flexing His Stuff


C decided to wear his Spider Man costume today, ALL DAY. Let's just say we had a few errands to run, no big deal. He was Spider Man at Wal-Mart and the Mall. Before we left I caught him flexing in front of the mirror. When we were at the Mall (Mall walking) he kept getting out of the stroller and running ahead as fast as he could and shooting webs at people and things. It was hilarious.
Nope, no hair yet Mom!

Kids do the funniest stuff. J noticed a while ago that he could see his reflection in the fireplace glass. He sits there making faces at himself for a few minutes and then will just start laughing. Sister even gets into the game and then it gets really crazy.

Olivia wears those darn princess dresses EVERYDAY. We finally got her to at least wear real clothes under them.

I love it! Ty was the same way! He was always wanting to wear the costume and climb walls. We had to sneak it from him at night just to wash it. We too made many a trip to Walmart or Target with Spiderman. Gotta love those boys!

Today we went to our new ward.  We still have one more week in our current ward but we just wanted to check it out, get our faces known, and possibly drum up some help to unload a moving truck in a couple weeks. Can I just say it was amazing!  We've been to this ward before when Chris was on the High Council so there were a few familiar faces.  That wasn't the amazing part... Sometimes life changes and we are all trying to catch up

From day one I could tell there was something different about L...he is my 4th child and right from the start I could tell.  I didn't know I could tell.  I knew he was different from my other kids but I didn't have a clue as to why, or what our future would bring. L was my most sweet baby.  All babies are sweet you say, all babies are different.  I know all babies are sweet but I mean this baby was SWEET.  He slept through the night almost from day one, to a mom 6 hours is like an eternity so I'm calling it through the night.  He rarely cried.  When he did and all the normal boxes were checked, feeding, changing, hot/cold, he just wanted to be left alone.  He would lay for hours on the floor on a blanket and watch life happen.  Then he would just fall asleep and take a nap and it was wonderful.  Being a mom of many kiddos it was like this baby was sent to me on purpose to make it easy.  Usually I have a baby and think "I'm not eve...

Our 68 Whiskey

All the fretting and studying and worrying and starving paid off!  K scored an excellent score on her ASVAB, better than most people!  She was able to pic the MOS (job) that she wanted and is happily enlisted in the US Army as a 68W (combat medic).  She has a ship out date of June 21 2017 but when she gets her diploma in her hot little hand in December she will renegotiate her contract and try and leave earlier.  This is a huge sigh of relief for her and a bit of a sigh of anxiety for her momma!  That's ok she is following her dream and doing what she will love.  I have faith that she will succeed!  Love that girl of mine.
