Happy Easter

I love Easter morning and Christmas morning pictures. Everyone looks so great with PJ'S on and bedhead! At least I get to be behind the camera on Easter and am not the subject of such awful pictures. The Easter Bunny came yesterday. Yes, we still celebrate with baskets on Easter morning, not like most of my "good Mormon" friends who opt for the Saturday, just call it an ingrained family tradition.

The kids had to find their baskets this time, the Bunny hid them just like at K's friends house. Even though K has been Santa and Easter Bunny, lets call it enlightened, she still gets gifts as long as she does not spill the beans to her siblings. We have a late call at church 1:00 so we spent the morning trying out mom's new waffle iron YUM!

After church we had some friends over. It snowed off and on all day but when we got home it had stopped and we thought it had stopped just so we could grill. Chris got out and started the grill and soon it was snowing so hard it was sticking on the ground and he had to get his coat and hood on. All of our friends and me just stood in the house and watched and took pictures. That is one thing about Bako you never wondered if it would snow on Easter, you were just always worried about how hot it was going to be.

Our Easter tradition of having a get together is back and we are glad. Last year we were still kinda new and did not have many friends so it was pretty depressing. This year we are back to our old selves, and though we missed our families and old friends terribly, we had a good day overall.

Glad to hear you guys had such a nice Easter. Love the grilling in the snow pic of Chris! You're right on about not having to worry about that in Bako. I was always worried about all of the chocolate candy melting in the 10 minutes it took to hide eggs to hunt.

Fun Fun Fun - I know what you mean, this year we had to hide easter eggs in the family room and it just wasn't the same. Glad to see you had a great day though

Oh and PS - we did everything on Sunday!!!
