Congrats to Chris

I just wanted to take a minute and say Congratulations to my Hubby! Yesterday it was made official that he will be getting a new position at State Farm, Purchasing Assistant! Right now he is a Planner and has been trying to move to assistant. He has posted for that position in the past, to no avail. Well on Monday his boss pulled him into her office (that would made anyone nervous) and told him that they have a position open and they are just going to move him to it, no posting, no interviewing, no stress!!! Chris is very excited and can't wait to get started. I probably won't have pics of this one, I don't think he'd appreciate me following him to his cube on his first day and snapping some shots. Anyway just wanted to say "Way to go Honey we love you"!

Way to go! State Farm makes ya wait! We're still waiting to here on the new claim rep position. we're on our 4th interview for that position.

BIG CONGRATS!!!! It must be new job week! T found a job in Peoria that he and I think will be perfect for him!!! (btw, we are staying here and he will commute)

Again, CONGRATULATIONS! Ohh and go ahead and snap a photo on his first day, I am sure that would go over well with everyone involved! LOL :-) JK

My honey celebrates 10 years at State Farm in June!! 2 in Maryland and 8 here!

I decorated his cubicle on our Anniversary one year. He has just been moved to a new position and I didn't know that his cubicle had moved. Security took me to his new boss and the boss helped me with the cubicle decorating. He has a really good boss! I forgot the camera though! Rats!

Today we went to our new ward.  We still have one more week in our current ward but we just wanted to check it out, get our faces known, and possibly drum up some help to unload a moving truck in a couple weeks. Can I just say it was amazing!  We've been to this ward before when Chris was on the High Council so there were a few familiar faces.  That wasn't the amazing part... Today is Chris Birthday! I'm awful about making plans and doing things for him so this year I have tried my best to be better. We are having a small party if you will , with some friends tonight and having his favorite apple cake with caramel topping. Sometimes life changes and we are all trying to catch up

From day one I could tell there was something different about L...he is my 4th child and right from the start I could tell.  I didn't know I could tell.  I knew he was different from my other kids but I didn't have a clue as to why, or what our future would bring. L was my most sweet baby.  All babies are sweet you say, all babies are different.  I know all babies are sweet but I mean this baby was SWEET.  He slept through the night almost from day one, to a mom 6 hours is like an eternity so I'm calling it through the night.  He rarely cried.  When he did and all the normal boxes were checked, feeding, changing, hot/cold, he just wanted to be left alone.  He would lay for hours on the floor on a blanket and watch life happen.  Then he would just fall asleep and take a nap and it was wonderful.  Being a mom of many kiddos it was like this baby was sent to me on purpose to make it easy.  Usually I have a baby and think "I'm not eve...
