O's Head Shots!




O was jealous yesterday that K got to go to her friends house. After all of the birthday festivities and then going to a friends house O was at her max jealousy level. So after K left to go and play O and I had a beauty day. She's been begging for a mud mask so we did the blue mask first, then we painted her up and straightened her hair and frou frou'd it. She thought she was pretty hot stuff, and kept telling me I was the best mom ever. Funny how we are always the best when we are doing things they love not when we are feeding, clothing, nurturing, or otherwise serving them. O thought she was the favorite at the moment and that's all that matters.

So very adorable! You are a great mom! She will remember this for years to come and not the dinner you had that night. Although they couldn't survive long without the other momma who nurtures, feeds and other wise serves multiple roles. It is times like these that are so precious!

Today we went to our new ward.  We still have one more week in our current ward but we just wanted to check it out, get our faces known, and possibly drum up some help to unload a moving truck in a couple weeks. Can I just say it was amazing!  We've been to this ward before when Chris was on the High Council so there were a few familiar faces.  That wasn't the amazing part... Today is Chris Birthday! I'm awful about making plans and doing things for him so this year I have tried my best to be better. We are having a small party if you will , with some friends tonight and having his favorite apple cake with caramel topping. Sometimes life changes and we are all trying to catch up

From day one I could tell there was something different about L...he is my 4th child and right from the start I could tell.  I didn't know I could tell.  I knew he was different from my other kids but I didn't have a clue as to why, or what our future would bring. L was my most sweet baby.  All babies are sweet you say, all babies are different.  I know all babies are sweet but I mean this baby was SWEET.  He slept through the night almost from day one, to a mom 6 hours is like an eternity so I'm calling it through the night.  He rarely cried.  When he did and all the normal boxes were checked, feeding, changing, hot/cold, he just wanted to be left alone.  He would lay for hours on the floor on a blanket and watch life happen.  Then he would just fall asleep and take a nap and it was wonderful.  Being a mom of many kiddos it was like this baby was sent to me on purpose to make it easy.  Usually I have a baby and think "I'm not eve...
