Timewarp Tuesday

I don't know if it's because I just celebrated my 10th wedding anniversary, or if my oldest just turned 9, or if I just finished a book about a man who time travels but I've been going through old pics and found one some of you might find interesting. There are several blogging buddies present here! Hope you can see well enough.

that day has so many memories for me. That was the day Michael and I got lost and ended up in Ventura, decided not to get married because he still had feelings for someone else, flashed my garments to almost everyone in my new line of work, decided to get serious with Michael, and that is just the stuff that comes to mind. I am sure if I sat here long enough I could think of a few more.

Ahh this is so cute!

I should pull out mine. It may be the 9 yr old thing of course we are coming up on our 11 yr reunion too and I have been thinking about all the same stuff. T said the on N's b-day, "Just think he is half way to 18! Ikes!I can't believe that! WOWA!

my wedding dress was so itchy that I kept adjusting my garments to compensate and flashed everyone at the temple and the reception. Funny thing is not a soul said a word! By the time we got to the hotel I was covered from the waist up in hives!

I think I know everyone but 10 people. That was my burgandy dress that I wore for my wedding a few months prior. Man we were young.

Today we went to our new ward.  We still have one more week in our current ward but we just wanted to check it out, get our faces known, and possibly drum up some help to unload a moving truck in a couple weeks. Can I just say it was amazing!  We've been to this ward before when Chris was on the High Council so there were a few familiar faces.  That wasn't the amazing part... For the last 2 1/2 years Chris has struggled going to church.  The first year was due to the fact that he was in the hospital and fighting for his life and was unable to physically attend.  Frankly the whole family struggled that year and we stayed home for months because it was too painful to go.  The last year and a half Chris has struggled due to anxiety and panic about church.  He still has a testimony and loves the Gospel, he helps get the kids ready for church and attends when he can but for the most part I'm a single mom when it comes to church attendance.  He cann...

Sometimes life changes and we are all trying to catch up

From day one I could tell there was something different about L...he is my 4th child and right from the start I could tell.  I didn't know I could tell.  I knew he was different from my other kids but I didn't have a clue as to why, or what our future would bring. L was my most sweet baby.  All babies are sweet you say, all babies are different.  I know all babies are sweet but I mean this baby was SWEET.  He slept through the night almost from day one, to a mom 6 hours is like an eternity so I'm calling it through the night.  He rarely cried.  When he did and all the normal boxes were checked, feeding, changing, hot/cold, he just wanted to be left alone.  He would lay for hours on the floor on a blanket and watch life happen.  Then he would just fall asleep and take a nap and it was wonderful.  Being a mom of many kiddos it was like this baby was sent to me on purpose to make it easy.  Usually I have a baby and think "I'm not eve...
