Father's Day Clark Style



Happy father's day to Chris. We are lucky enough to have church at 1:00 so I was able to make a yummy breakfast for my hubby. We had Irish Nachos and corn beef hash. Chris was presented with gifts, a new shirt for work (they go casual now) and a gift card for Petco to get some fish for his tank. The kids all had cute homemade cards, and in primary they answered a really cute questionnaire about their dad, and he got a crown.
After church we had a ham waiting for us in the oven and twice baked potatoes. For dessert there was ice cream bars and Popsicles. Mostly it was just hanging out together and playing helicopters with C. Hope you had a great day hunny!

What a nice day. Michael got his early because of our trip. It looks like Chris was properly honored!!! Now we just need anothing Mother's day - I could really use a nap

Today we went to our new ward.  We still have one more week in our current ward but we just wanted to check it out, get our faces known, and possibly drum up some help to unload a moving truck in a couple weeks. Can I just say it was amazing!  We've been to this ward before when Chris was on the High Council so there were a few familiar faces.  That wasn't the amazing part... 34 Reasons Why I Love You

Today is Chris Birthday! I'm awful about making plans and doing things for him so this year I have tried my best to be better. We are having a small party if you will , with some friends tonight and having his favorite apple cake with caramel topping. I also wanted to give him a little extra and thought I needed to publicly share some of the reasons why I love him. Sometimes life changes and we are all trying to catch up

From day one I could tell there was something different about L...he is my 4th child and right from the start I could tell.  I didn't know I could tell.  I knew he was different from my other kids but I didn't have a clue as to why, or what our future would bring. L was my most sweet baby.  All babies are sweet you say, all babies are different.  I know all babies are sweet but I mean this baby was SWEET.  He slept through the night almost from day one, to a mom 6 hours is like an eternity so I'm calling it through the night.  He rarely cried.  When he did and all the normal boxes were checked, feeding, changing, hot/cold, he just wanted to be left alone.  He would lay for hours on the floor on a blanket and watch life happen.  Then he would just fall asleep and take a nap and it was wonderful.  Being a mom of many kiddos it was like this baby was sent to me on purpose to make it easy.  Usually I have a baby and think "I'm not eve...
