Enjoying The Rest Of The Summer Redneck-Hick Style

O decided that it was time for her to learn to ride a 2-wheeler. She was really excited about it until she fell the first time and skinned her knee. Now she is content to just sit on the seat and propel herself with her legs out. C also wanted to get into the no training wheels action and begged to have his taken off too. Mind you he is only 3 so I was skeptical. He actually did better than O and was able to ride a little ways. When he fell he just got back up and tried again until the handle bars got shoved into his side and cut him pretty good. He was DONE after that. The training wheels are back on his bike. O is going to have to learn or walk everywhere.
Your eyes are not deceiving you do not adjust your screen. My children are sitting on the back of a pick-up, fishing, in our front yard. What are they fishing for you ask? Well lets see... really not much. Chris tied little plastic fish onto the ends of their lines and they were just casting and reeling in. That's all the fun of fishing for them anyway is the casting and reeling in. Catching a fish is OK, but not much action. We do love to actually fish and have not gone this summer as our licenses have expired. O and K can bait their own hooks with WORMS (can you say EEEEWW) C just loves chasing ducks.

The kids weren't the only ones having a ball, Winston (our cat) was chasing these little plastic fish through the grass. This kept the 2 youngest busy for about 2 hours, better than a babysitter!

My kids practice casting into grandpa's pool. I hate to fish so they only go with grandpa.
