Lost Teeth, Spider Webs, and Food

Could I be any more random in my post today? I have several things to say so I just thought I'd lump them together.

First O lost a tooth on the top. It's fun when they loose the first tooth but the top ones are something special. I'm always sad when it happens. It's actually been hanging on for days now and she wouldn't let anyone touch it. Today it just fell out in her hand when she woke up. After posting this picture I realized that it looks like she has a shaved head. In real life she does not have a shaved head she just has it pulled back in her "half up half down" hairstyle. She loves it and mommy hates it.

While we were out at the bus stop this morning the kids found the coolest spider web I've ever seen. It was in the pine tree in our front yard. I decided to take a picture of course.
And last but not least I have started my own recipe blog. It's been hard to keep track of all of my recipes. I lose the envelope or receipt that I wrote them on, or forget which cook book they came out of. So I started a new blog a few weeks ago and put most of my recipes on it. It is called of course The Queens Recipes I have several friends who have done this also and their links are on that blog. It's always fun to see what's for dinner and get new ideas.

I love the spider web! We had one like that once that I had to keep breaking it because I had to walk there, but every day it was there again. Poor, industrious, stubborn, stupid, spider.

Thanks for your comment on my blog. I was laughing about it all day! And I wouldn't have understood the acronym if you hadn't explained it to me!

Today we went to our new ward.  We still have one more week in our current ward but we just wanted to check it out, get our faces known, and possibly drum up some help to unload a moving truck in a couple weeks. Today is Chris Birthday! I'm awful about making plans and doing things for him so this year I have tried my best to be better. We are having a small party if you will , with some friends tonight and having his favorite apple cake with caramel topping. Sometimes life changes and we are all trying to catch up

From day one I could tell there was something different about L...he is my 4th child and right from the start I could tell.  I didn't know I could tell.  I knew he was different from my other kids but I didn't have a clue as to why, or what our future would bring. L was my most sweet baby.  All babies are sweet you say, all babies are different.  I know all babies are sweet but I mean this baby was SWEET.  He slept through the night almost from day one, to a mom 6 hours is like an eternity so I'm calling it through the night.  He rarely cried.  When he did and all the normal boxes were checked, feeding, changing, hot/cold, he just wanted to be left alone.  He would lay for hours on the floor on a blanket and watch life happen.  Then he would just fall asleep and take a nap and it was wonderful.  Being a mom of many kiddos it was like this baby was sent to me on purpose to make it easy.  Usually I have a baby and think "I'm not eve...
