Why I Love Blogging

I love blogging for lots of reasons. One being that I can get on my soap box and just rant about things and I feel tons better afterward.

Well tonight as most of you know was free ice cream at Cold Stone. When we got to the shop we were there with tons of people, of course. We ordered our ice cream and the lady behind the counter gave it to us and then asked for our ticket. I said what ticket. She said if you donate to Make a Wish then you get a ticket and then you get free ice cream. I told her we did not donate and did not have a ticket, she just stood there and looked at me like "Show me the Money!" I politely said "your sign does not specify that you have to donate to get the free ice cream" She just rolled her eyes and waved me away.

If they were going to require a donation they should have said that up front and I would have brought cash and tossed in a few bucks but like most Americans now days I only have a debit card. Anyway was she going to take the ice cream back from my kids hands? NO! C was already crying because it was not blue. Taking ice cream from babies would have been bad for business!

That is frustrating. I looked up on their website and all they said was you can donate at that time. We are headed there now - I hope we don't get into any trouble. K would kill me if she didn't get her free ice cream

Today we went to our new ward.  We still have one more week in our current ward but we just wanted to check it out, get our faces known, and possibly drum up some help to unload a moving truck in a couple weeks. Can I just say it was amazing!  We've been to this ward before when Chris was on the High Council so there were a few familiar faces.  That wasn't the amazing part... 34 Reasons Why I Love You

Today is Chris Birthday! I'm awful about making plans and doing things for him so this year I have tried my best to be better. We are having a small party if you will , with some friends tonight and having his favorite apple cake with caramel topping. Sometimes life changes and we are all trying to catch up

From day one I could tell there was something different about L...he is my 4th child and right from the start I could tell.  I didn't know I could tell.  I knew he was different from my other kids but I didn't have a clue as to why, or what our future would bring. L was my most sweet baby.  All babies are sweet you say, all babies are different.  I know all babies are sweet but I mean this baby was SWEET.  He slept through the night almost from day one, to a mom 6 hours is like an eternity so I'm calling it through the night.  He rarely cried.  When he did and all the normal boxes were checked, feeding, changing, hot/cold, he just wanted to be left alone.  He would lay for hours on the floor on a blanket and watch life happen.  Then he would just fall asleep and take a nap and it was wonderful.  Being a mom of many kiddos it was like this baby was sent to me on purpose to make it easy.  Usually I have a baby and think "I'm not eve...
