Laundry Treasure

With 3 kids I do A LOT of laundry. I don't know how you mom's with more than that stay on top of things. Do you ever find anything interesting in the laundry? I do. Sometimes it's cars, or toys, or lip gloss (so frustrating if it goes through the dryer) I even find money on occasion, and the rule is if it's in the laundry I get to keep it. Today however takes the cake. I think this is the most disturbing thing I have ever found in the laundry:

With the white plastic part sticking out of the thigh it actually looks like a femur!

I would have to agree with you there. When I scrolled down to see the picture I actually was startled and started chuckling.
Bubba likes to collect bark and rocks from the school playground. One load I found about a cup full in the dryer. We had to have a little chat after that!
If I find money in the wash I don't announce it. What happens in the landry room, stays in the laundry room! LOL

I am so glad that you had your wits about you and documented the tragic accident for us!

Oh -- and Lucy has a recital on Saturday so either another reschedule or earlier...

I get rocks from Matthew, gum from David and money from them both. I don't tell them about the money either . . . I have a bank in the Laundry Room that is getting filled!!

I think you have won a prize. The most I ever find in my dryer is rocks. Lots and lots of rocks. With the occasional pacifer

Today we went to our new ward.  We still have one more week in our current ward but we just wanted to check it out, get our faces known, and possibly drum up some help to unload a moving truck in a couple weeks. Can I just say it was amazing!  We've been to this ward before when Chris was on the High Council so there were a few familiar faces.  That wasn't the amazing part... Sometimes life changes and we are all trying to catch up

From day one I could tell there was something different about L...he is my 4th child and right from the start I could tell.  I didn't know I could tell.  I knew he was different from my other kids but I didn't have a clue as to why, or what our future would bring. L was my most sweet baby.  All babies are sweet you say, all babies are different.  I know all babies are sweet but I mean this baby was SWEET.  He slept through the night almost from day one, to a mom 6 hours is like an eternity so I'm calling it through the night.  He rarely cried.  When he did and all the normal boxes were checked, feeding, changing, hot/cold, he just wanted to be left alone.  He would lay for hours on the floor on a blanket and watch life happen.  Then he would just fall asleep and take a nap and it was wonderful.  Being a mom of many kiddos it was like this baby was sent to me on purpose to make it easy.  Usually I have a baby and think "I'm not eve...

Our 68 Whiskey

All the fretting and studying and worrying and starving paid off!  K scored an excellent score on her ASVAB, better than most people!  She was able to pic the MOS (job) that she wanted and is happily enlisted in the US Army as a 68W (combat medic).  She has a ship out date of June 21 2017 but when she gets her diploma in her hot little hand in December she will renegotiate her contract and try and leave earlier.  This is a huge sigh of relief for her and a bit of a sigh of anxiety for her momma!  That's ok she is following her dream and doing what she will love.  I have faith that she will succeed!  Love that girl of mine.
