BRRRRRRR!

Today is day 3 of no school for the kids because of the weather. We don't have that much snow it's just the cold. I woke up today and it's about -20 or so outside. (without windchill). I looked out the window and you can see the ice forming on the INSIDE of the windows! The cats won't go outside, I don't know how long they can hold it! The kids want to go outside and think I'm crazy when I tell them that their fingers and body parts can actually freeze and have to be cut off. They think I'm exaggerating, I'M NOT! I slept in my sweats last night, I even had on socks and a sweat shirt with a hood over my head. That is just not like me. Usually it's the less the best. Yes, we have a heater but it just can't seem to keep the chill out of the air. It's weird.

Today we are staying home AGAIN! I don't know how much more the kids can take. I'm going to girls night out tonight at least I can rest up and maybe not kill them this weekend.

Amen! I am sitting in my office and it's FREEZING! I kept a fire in the fireplace all day yesterday and it did keep the chill out of the air, but last night we both bundled up for sleeping. You know it's bad when you think about braving the cold to go to Walmart because the store might actually be warmer than your house!
See you tonight. I won't be at the pre-dinner (budgetary restrictions for the next 5 months), but I will be at the event. I'll be the one in a full on snowsuit and eskimo boots.

That happened here a few weeks ago. I had never seen ice on the inside of windows before. Just keep reminding yourself - at least it won't be 120 this summer!!!

I will be thinking warm thoughts all day just for you.

We got ice on the inside of our windows too! Really strange. We are beyond cabin fever!! And, we are sharing it with a neighbor's kid. He's usually in the before and after school program, but now he is hanging out with us! I should make some of those cinnamon rolls!!

Sorry! We had 75 degrees today. It was just too hot for me this time of year!
Sometimes I wish it were that cold here! Especially in the suumer! ;)
So sorry you are freezing. You need to move back to Bako. We went swimming today.
