Baby Update

I'm gonna try and mark all my baby posts with "Baby Update" that way anyone not interested can just skip it!

Yesterday I went for another check up.  I'm going to be 12 weeks tomorrow (can you say bye bye 1st trimester!!!).  He let C and I hear the heartbeat.  It only took about 20 minutes to find it, during which time I was starting to panic!  All looks and sounds good, blood work is good.  The best news of all is that my glucose came back fine (it usually does).  I have such big babies that they always make me do 3 of them during my pregnancy but it sounds like this MD is going to have pitty on me and only make me do the one!!!!

I have 2 friends that are in my ward and pregnant too.  It's so fun to share the experience with them.  I've never been pregnant with anyone from my ward before (OK once in Wasco but that doesn't count because she competed with me the whole time and it was NOT FUN).  Anyway I keep telling them they are going to have these cute little bundles to bring to church and then we are going to bring our baby the first time and everyone is going to think it's already 3 months old.  Seriously my babies are big!

This is another first for me too - I'm NOT in the preggo crowd. I look forward to holding, snuggling & nuzzling the little ones to get my baby-fix. Then I can give them back. I don't HAVE to do the feeding or the diapers. Yay me!

Yup, don't you love how I can turn YOUR baby update around & make it about me?

BTW - finally got a (warm) shower about 8pm.

I was never pregnant at the same time as anyone (except with Jake), one of my good friends and that was fun. But try my shoe on for size...everyone else was pregnant except me--that continues to this day!

I have had that shoe on for size! After K it took 2 years to get preggo and this time it took 2 1/2 years! I feel your pain, even though you have 2 it's never easy when there's "issues".

Today we went to our new ward.  We still have one more week in our current ward but we just wanted to check it out, get our faces known, and possibly drum up some help to unload a moving truck in a couple weeks. Can I just say it was amazing!  We've been to this ward before when Chris was on the High Council so there were a few familiar faces.  That wasn't the amazing part... Today is Chris Birthday! I'm awful about making plans and doing things for him so this year I have tried my best to be better. We are having a small party if you will , with some friends tonight and having his favorite apple cake with caramel topping. Sometimes life changes and we are all trying to catch up

From day one I could tell there was something different about L...he is my 4th child and right from the start I could tell.  I didn't know I could tell.  I knew he was different from my other kids but I didn't have a clue as to why, or what our future would bring. L was my most sweet baby.  All babies are sweet you say, all babies are different.  I know all babies are sweet but I mean this baby was SWEET.  He slept through the night almost from day one, to a mom 6 hours is like an eternity so I'm calling it through the night.  He rarely cried.  When he did and all the normal boxes were checked, feeding, changing, hot/cold, he just wanted to be left alone.  He would lay for hours on the floor on a blanket and watch life happen.  Then he would just fall asleep and take a nap and it was wonderful.  Being a mom of many kiddos it was like this baby was sent to me on purpose to make it easy.  Usually I have a baby and think "I'm not eve...
