A Taste of Spring
Yesterday we had a taste of spring here in the Midwest. It was about 60 outside and sunny and beautiful. All of our snow melted, we opened our windows and doors, and the kids played outside. It was too nice of a day to spend completely inside so we went with some friends of ours over the the County History Museum. We'd never been there before, it was very interesting. Probably not some place that you'd go with little tiny kids but ours enjoyed it a lot. After we toured the museum for a couple of hours we stood outside and chatted and let the kids run around the grounds for about 45 minutes.
When we got home last night O's legs were hurting her so bad she couldn't sleep, and this morning K was complaining her muscles were sore from running so much yesterday. Can you say, Out of Shape? I can't wait until actual spring when we can kick them outside all day everyday.
