Butterfly Kisses

C has figured out that if he offers butterfly kisses in payment for service rendered he usually gets what he wants.  For example, the other day he wanted help cleaning his room and offered me butterfly kisses if I helped.  Well 5 minutes later I was knee deep in boy toys, and dirty clothes, all for one butterfly kiss.  What a pushover!  This morning we were getting ready for school, C was eating his breakfast and the rest of us were sitting in the living room getting on shoes etc.  

He says, "If someone will get me a cup of water I'll give them a butterfly kiss".  
To which O replies, "that's not enough". 
So he ups the anty, "I'll give a butterfly kiss and a hug".  
O- "Still not enough".  
C- "A butterfly kiss, a hug, AND a regular kiss". 
 I guess that was the magic combo because K and O fought over who would get his drink.  SUCKERS!

Shoot...I can't get my kids to like each other, let alone DO things for them too. - "Payment" or no payment.

C is so sweet and learning to be a MASTER manipulator! Hey...whatever works, right?! I love how they all love him so much! Can't wait for the new addition too. I hope C doesn't feel too shafted!

Today we went to our new ward.  We still have one more week in our current ward but we just wanted to check it out, get our faces known, and possibly drum up some help to unload a moving truck in a couple weeks. Today is Chris Birthday! I'm awful about making plans and doing things for him so this year I have tried my best to be better. We are having a small party if you will , with some friends tonight and having his favorite apple cake with caramel topping. Sometimes life changes and we are all trying to catch up

From day one I could tell there was something different about L...he is my 4th child and right from the start I could tell.  I didn't know I could tell.  I knew he was different from my other kids but I didn't have a clue as to why, or what our future would bring. L was my most sweet baby.  All babies are sweet you say, all babies are different.  I know all babies are sweet but I mean this baby was SWEET.  He slept through the night almost from day one, to a mom 6 hours is like an eternity so I'm calling it through the night.  He rarely cried.  When he did and all the normal boxes were checked, feeding, changing, hot/cold, he just wanted to be left alone.  He would lay for hours on the floor on a blanket and watch life happen.  Then he would just fall asleep and take a nap and it was wonderful.  Being a mom of many kiddos it was like this baby was sent to me on purpose to make it easy.  Usually I have a baby and think "I'm not eve...
