Does Heavenly Father Make Mistakes?

As some of my readers know we had a new addition to our family last September.  Sirius came to us and has been a ball of fire ever since.  Friday we are hoping to curb that ball of fire (no pun intended) by having him neutered.  Monday C and I went to the SPCA to make an appointment for his surgery.  I have been wanting a dog for some time now (like 7 years) and since we don't have a back yard fence this dream of mine will have to wait a while (like forever).  I promised Chris that I would not come home from the SPCA with a dog, and really it was quite hard not to go in and at least peek at them.  They did however have 2 really cute dogs running around their office.  C and I got a chance to pet them and one of the dogs had something wrong with it's eyelid, it was swollen and pink, and looked painful.  When we got home that night C was telling Chris about his visit with the dogs and he said, "Dad, I think Heavenly Father put that dog's eye in wrong!"

Today we went to our new ward.  We still have one more week in our current ward but we just wanted to check it out, get our faces known, and possibly drum up some help to unload a moving truck in a couple weeks. Today is Chris Birthday! I'm awful about making plans and doing things for him so this year I have tried my best to be better. We are having a small party if you will , with some friends tonight and having his favorite apple cake with caramel topping. Sometimes life changes and we are all trying to catch up

From day one I could tell there was something different about L...he is my 4th child and right from the start I could tell.  I didn't know I could tell.  I knew he was different from my other kids but I didn't have a clue as to why, or what our future would bring. L was my most sweet baby.  All babies are sweet you say, all babies are different.  I know all babies are sweet but I mean this baby was SWEET.  He slept through the night almost from day one, to a mom 6 hours is like an eternity so I'm calling it through the night.  He rarely cried.  When he did and all the normal boxes were checked, feeding, changing, hot/cold, he just wanted to be left alone.  He would lay for hours on the floor on a blanket and watch life happen.  Then he would just fall asleep and take a nap and it was wonderful.  Being a mom of many kiddos it was like this baby was sent to me on purpose to make it easy.  Usually I have a baby and think "I'm not eve...
