Have you ever been sorry you blog lurked?

I know you all do it.  I do it often actually.  I find some great things when I do it.  It's blog lurking.  You know, getting on a friends blog, checking her blog roll for anything interesting, and before you know it you have hopped 5 or 6 blogs and have no idea who's blog you're on or how you got there.  Well yesterday I lurked the wrong blog.  I can't tell you how I got there, I can't seem to find my way back even.  All I know is I have an image that will stick with me the rest of my life.  

This particular mom had just had a baby.  She was still in the mode of telling everyone about it, no big deal, right?  Well a few posts down she had a picture of some art she had made... out of her PLACENTA!  WHAT???  I thought that was pretty weird until I read down a few more posts and she actually had the "tutorial" on how she made said art, complete with a picture of her actual PLACENTA!!!  I was pretty grossed out by the whole thing, however I did use it as a learning tool for the kids, and showed them the picture and told them what it was for.  K was pretty grossed out but C and O thought it was cool.  She also had video and pictures of her home birth,(the children did not get to see those) that in my opinion should have only been shared between hubby and wife, or at least on a private blog, but who am I to judge.  

So, word to the wise, be careful when you are blog lurking you may just get TMI!

Today we went to our new ward.  We still have one more week in our current ward but we just wanted to check it out, get our faces known, and possibly drum up some help to unload a moving truck in a couple weeks. Can I just say it was amazing!  We've been to this ward before when Chris was on the High Council so there were a few familiar faces.  That wasn't the amazing part... Today is Chris Birthday! I'm awful about making plans and doing things for him so this year I have tried my best to be better. We are having a small party if you will , with some friends tonight and having his favorite apple cake with caramel topping. Sometimes life changes and we are all trying to catch up

From day one I could tell there was something different about L...he is my 4th child and right from the start I could tell.  I didn't know I could tell.  I knew he was different from my other kids but I didn't have a clue as to why, or what our future would bring. L was my most sweet baby.  All babies are sweet you say, all babies are different.  I know all babies are sweet but I mean this baby was SWEET.  He slept through the night almost from day one, to a mom 6 hours is like an eternity so I'm calling it through the night.  He rarely cried.  When he did and all the normal boxes were checked, feeding, changing, hot/cold, he just wanted to be left alone.  He would lay for hours on the floor on a blanket and watch life happen.  Then he would just fall asleep and take a nap and it was wonderful.  Being a mom of many kiddos it was like this baby was sent to me on purpose to make it easy.  Usually I have a baby and think "I'm not eve...
