See, spending so much time on Facebook can be good!

Something funny happened today, not funny HAHA, funny strange!  Chris was mowing our lawn and heard some birds in a nest chirping in our big pine tree.  Normally that would not have caught his attention what caught his attention was the funny looking nest.  He stopped the mower to investigate further and found it was not a nest he was seeing it was a purse! (no the birds were not nesting in the purse).  He brought it in the house and we looked through it.  There was a wallet with a drivers license, credit cards, library cards etc.  Well I looked at the name and it rang a bell.  I kept repeating it over and over and finally realized where I had seen it, Facebook!  It was a friend of a friend and would pop up sometimes as "someone you might know".  Apparently our friends that live behind us had this certain person over one weekend and her car had gotten broken into and her purse stolen.  Well whoever stole it threw it in our tree.  Too weird!  

So now she has her purse accounted for.  The little thugs that stole it were not interested in plastic only cash, thank goodness.  Moral of the story is crime happens even in nice neighborhoods!
