Meet our new family member Talulah
Bet you didn't know that there was another love in Chris' life! It's not another woman although she sounds a lot like a woman, she even nags, and backseat drives (not than any of us do that). Her name is Talulah and she is our GPS.
Talulah successfully guided us through the south on our vacation. She single handedly showed us where there were Mc Donald's to stop at (they usually had the cleanest bathrooms), and even found us a Jack-in-the-box to eat at. There were times when I knew where I was going but passed my stop/turn off because we didn't have Talulah turned on and I was so used to her directing me.
We only had one mishap when our KOA's address was not in her data base so she tried to get us to camp in a field in the middle of Possum Trott, Kentucky (no kidding that's what the sign said). On a side note what is a Possum Trott, is that when a Possum eats some bad sushi, or can a possum even trott??? Anyhoo, she became a member of our family, the kids even call her by name and Chris' brother started treating her like she was Chris' mistress. Sometimes even the tone of her voice was slightly angry, "Drive Carefully, ROUTE RECALCULATION"!!
Chris' brother's are on their way here from Georgia tonight and let's just say they could use Talulah on their dash board.
What did we all do before GPS? Maps??? Who can read those anymore? (luckily my hubby can)
