Baby Shower






My good friends Kim and Lisa threw me a baby shower while my Mom was here to attend. Kim made the CUTEST invites I have EVER seen. Of course I've blocked out their personal info, they probably don't want their e-mail address and phone numbers all over the internet! As most of you know I love bees, not real bees they sting, but most anything with bees on it. So the theme for the shower was of course BEES!!

Lisa was in charge of games and we had a few really fun ones. One included clothes pins and crossing your legs/saying the word baby. Lisa put a few on her face and it was hysterical.

The food was great and very Bee oriented. Kim and Lisa even made little party favors that were bees that had magnets on them. We ate and played games, and opened presents. I got lots of cute things.

Thanks to Lisa and Kim, and my girls for making this a great night. I missed lots of my friends who have attended my other showers, but you were there in spirit. Hopefully this baby feels ready really soon and comes!

That is one sexy picture of Lisa! I had a great time. I'm excited to meet your newborn toddler. Mmmm, I feel like chocolate cupcakes...don't know why. Cupcakesssssss!

Today we went to our new ward.  We still have one more week in our current ward but we just wanted to check it out, get our faces known, and possibly drum up some help to unload a moving truck in a couple weeks. Can I just say it was amazing!  We've been to this ward before when Chris was on the High Council so there were a few familiar faces.  That wasn't the amazing part... Today is Chris Birthday! I'm awful about making plans and doing things for him so this year I have tried my best to be better. We are having a small party if you will , with some friends tonight and having his favorite apple cake with caramel topping. Sometimes life changes and we are all trying to catch up

From day one I could tell there was something different about L...he is my 4th child and right from the start I could tell.  I didn't know I could tell.  I knew he was different from my other kids but I didn't have a clue as to why, or what our future would bring. L was my most sweet baby.  All babies are sweet you say, all babies are different.  I know all babies are sweet but I mean this baby was SWEET.  He slept through the night almost from day one, to a mom 6 hours is like an eternity so I'm calling it through the night.  He rarely cried.  When he did and all the normal boxes were checked, feeding, changing, hot/cold, he just wanted to be left alone.  He would lay for hours on the floor on a blanket and watch life happen.  Then he would just fall asleep and take a nap and it was wonderful.  Being a mom of many kiddos it was like this baby was sent to me on purpose to make it easy.  Usually I have a baby and think "I'm not eve...
