End of Pregnancy Frump

A few months ago I posted about my mid-pregnancy frump. Well today I am having an end-of-pregnancy frump. So I woke up and decided to cut my hair really short. I know crazy right before delivery. As I left the salon I realized that this is my pattern. I always get a short cut right before I have a baby.

My hair was around shoulder length, maybe a little shorter already and now its above my chin,
and the back is even shorter. I feel so much better!

Yes, those are actual the blinds that I have in my bedroom. They are hideous, but our room faces the east and we get all that morning sun and they keep out the sun really well, so they stay.

I love it! It will be perfect when you are sleep deprived, spit up on and haven't showered and people show up to "wish you well"!

Today we went to our new ward.  We still have one more week in our current ward but we just wanted to check it out, get our faces known, and possibly drum up some help to unload a moving truck in a couple weeks. Today is Chris Birthday! I'm awful about making plans and doing things for him so this year I have tried my best to be better. We are having a small party if you will , with some friends tonight and having his favorite apple cake with caramel topping. Sometimes life changes and we are all trying to catch up

From day one I could tell there was something different about L...he is my 4th child and right from the start I could tell.  I didn't know I could tell.  I knew he was different from my other kids but I didn't have a clue as to why, or what our future would bring. L was my most sweet baby.  All babies are sweet you say, all babies are different.  I know all babies are sweet but I mean this baby was SWEET.  He slept through the night almost from day one, to a mom 6 hours is like an eternity so I'm calling it through the night.  He rarely cried.  When he did and all the normal boxes were checked, feeding, changing, hot/cold, he just wanted to be left alone.  He would lay for hours on the floor on a blanket and watch life happen.  Then he would just fall asleep and take a nap and it was wonderful.  Being a mom of many kiddos it was like this baby was sent to me on purpose to make it easy.  Usually I have a baby and think "I'm not eve...
