HA HA HA HA

I'm going to regret some of these posts when my kids get older... oh wait THEY are going to regret some of these posts when they get older!

Today I get a call from the school. During K's 2 and 3 grade years this was an almost daily occurrence to get a call from the school nurse. 4th and 5th grades were better I have only gotten a total of 4 calls for BOTH years. So today when the phone rang and it was the school I was a little surprised.

Mrs. S: Kelsey is in the office and has a strange rash on her legs that extends from her ankle all the way to her knee!

Me: HAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!! She shaved this morning it's razor burn!!!!!!!

Mrs. S: HAHAHAHAHAH!!!

Kelsey: Oh my gosh how embarrassing!!!!

A few minutes later I get a call from my neighbor

T: You have a much more mature 10 year old than I do.

Me: What happened?

T: I was in the school when K called you and I laughed when she said it was razor burn!!

Me: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

K will be mortified when she knows he called and we chatted about her razor burn. Sometimes I really love being a mom!!!!!!!!

Today we went to our new ward.  We still have one more week in our current ward but we just wanted to check it out, get our faces known, and possibly drum up some help to unload a moving truck in a couple weeks. Can I just say it was amazing!  We've been to this ward before when Chris was on the High Council so there were a few familiar faces.  That wasn't the amazing part... 34 Reasons Why I Love You

Today is Chris Birthday! I'm awful about making plans and doing things for him so this year I have tried my best to be better. We are having a small party if you will , with some friends tonight and having his favorite apple cake with caramel topping. I also wanted to give him a little extra and thought I needed to publicly share some of the reasons why I love him. Sometimes life changes and we are all trying to catch up

From day one I could tell there was something different about L...he is my 4th child and right from the start I could tell.  I didn't know I could tell.  I knew he was different from my other kids but I didn't have a clue as to why, or what our future would bring. L was my most sweet baby.  All babies are sweet you say, all babies are different.  I know all babies are sweet but I mean this baby was SWEET.  He slept through the night almost from day one, to a mom 6 hours is like an eternity so I'm calling it through the night.  He rarely cried.  When he did and all the normal boxes were checked, feeding, changing, hot/cold, he just wanted to be left alone.  He would lay for hours on the floor on a blanket and watch life happen.  Then he would just fall asleep and take a nap and it was wonderful.  Being a mom of many kiddos it was like this baby was sent to me on purpose to make it easy.  Usually I have a baby and think "I'm not eve...
