"That's why we called Clean House"

Have any of you seen the show Clean House on the Style Network? We love that show. I guess it makes me feel like our house is quite clean. I can sit and judge those people and feel very good about myself. Well confession time. The girls room was beginning to look like we could use Niecy Nash and her merry band of organizers! For the last few nights I would not even go into the room to tuck them in for fear of bodily injury. Today I took matters into my own hands and cleaned it up.

Furniture rearranged, closet organized, 1 large bag of garbage, 4, yes FOUR laundry buckets (not baskets four 18 gallon buckets) of dirty clothes later, it looks wonderful. C even played Indiana Jones and went under their bed with a flashlight and dug out all the crap. I was so frustrated after cleaning it up and finding still folded clothes on the floor among all the dirty ones, the girls are now responsible for their own laundry. Here is my merry band of laundry sorters.

I loved watching the show on BBC America with the two British women. I don't remember the name of the program, but it always made me feel good about how much cleaner my house was!!

We love that show, too! I always say that our house could look like that if I didn't clean for just a couple of days.

I've been known to not go into my girls room for fear of injury too. I have cleaned it a few times with them, but I am about to give up because it makes me so frustrated when it is just as dirty if not dirtier within a day or so.

Today we went to our new ward.  We still have one more week in our current ward but we just wanted to check it out, get our faces known, and possibly drum up some help to unload a moving truck in a couple weeks. 34 Reasons Why I Love You

Today is Chris Birthday! I'm awful about making plans and doing things for him so this year I have tried my best to be better. We are having a small party if you will , with some friends tonight and having his favorite apple cake with caramel topping. Sometimes life changes and we are all trying to catch up

From day one I could tell there was something different about L...he is my 4th child and right from the start I could tell.  I didn't know I could tell.  I knew he was different from my other kids but I didn't have a clue as to why, or what our future would bring. L was my most sweet baby.  All babies are sweet you say, all babies are different.  I know all babies are sweet but I mean this baby was SWEET.  He slept through the night almost from day one, to a mom 6 hours is like an eternity so I'm calling it through the night.  He rarely cried.  When he did and all the normal boxes were checked, feeding, changing, hot/cold, he just wanted to be left alone.  He would lay for hours on the floor on a blanket and watch life happen.  Then he would just fall asleep and take a nap and it was wonderful.  Being a mom of many kiddos it was like this baby was sent to me on purpose to make it easy.  Usually I have a baby and think "I'm not eve...
