Does Size Really Matter?

YES!!!!!!!!!!

When it comes to the size of your pants!!! Those of you that see me regularly know that I have been losing weight. I started around October last year and to date have lost 56 lbs. I've been waiting to get new clothes until I reach my personal goal, only 9 lbs to go. Yesterday for kicks I tried on some jeans because I wasn't even sure what size I would be in now. I am happy to report that I can fit into a size 16! Most women would still consider that a big size but when I was a size 22 last winter, this is a huge deal for me. I haven't been in the teens in years. Soon I will get new clothes and not need my belt to cinch up my pants every day. A couple of Sunday's ago I got up in the middle of Sacrament Meeting to take the baby out and O was sitting on a part of my skirt and I almost lost it. Luckily my shirt was long enough that no one saw that my skirt was down around my hips!

Congratulations! I think you are looking great! But I think moms with cute babies in their arms always look extra beautiful. You'll be pants shopping before you know it!

That's awesome!!! Now go get some new clothes -- and THROW AWAY the old ones!! If you hang onto them, you are telling yourself that someday you'll be going back. Pitch 'em!!!!!

I should post pictures. I see myself in past pictures and now I say, "look how fat I was" instead of "look how skinny I was"! As far as a reward for meeting the goal, I don't know what I'll do. I do know that new clothes are in order the old ones are literally falling off of my body at this point.
