Confessions of a Cheater!

I have to get the guilt off my mind, it's literally eating me up. I was in Great Clips today to, well, get my hair cut of course. I have found a girl there that I have been going to for a while. I will wait for her if she has other clients, and I take my kids to her and everything. Well today she wasn't there. I fretted about it for a while but I really needed a hair cut and I only had limited time so I decided to bite the bullet and take... GASP... whoever is available... I know I'm livin' on the edge! Half way through my cut my girl, we'll call her Ashely, (cuz that's her name) came in and started her shift, I totally felt like I was cheating on her. It was awful. Hopefully she'll forgive me and not give me some funky, crazy, Kate Goslin (wink, wink, Jen) haircut next time.

Today we went to our new ward.  We still have one more week in our current ward but we just wanted to check it out, get our faces known, and possibly drum up some help to unload a moving truck in a couple weeks. Can I just say it was amazing!  We've been to this ward before when Chris was on the High Council so there were a few familiar faces.  That wasn't the amazing part... Today is Chris Birthday! I'm awful about making plans and doing things for him so this year I have tried my best to be better. We are having a small party if you will , with some friends tonight and having his favorite apple cake with caramel topping. Sometimes life changes and we are all trying to catch up

From day one I could tell there was something different about L...he is my 4th child and right from the start I could tell.  I didn't know I could tell.  I knew he was different from my other kids but I didn't have a clue as to why, or what our future would bring. L was my most sweet baby.  All babies are sweet you say, all babies are different.  I know all babies are sweet but I mean this baby was SWEET.  He slept through the night almost from day one, to a mom 6 hours is like an eternity so I'm calling it through the night.  He rarely cried.  When he did and all the normal boxes were checked, feeding, changing, hot/cold, he just wanted to be left alone.  He would lay for hours on the floor on a blanket and watch life happen.  Then he would just fall asleep and take a nap and it was wonderful.  Being a mom of many kiddos it was like this baby was sent to me on purpose to make it easy.  Usually I have a baby and think "I'm not eve...
