What does this mean?

When Granny comes to visit the motto is, "Let the spoiling begin!".  She REALLY spoils our kids well.  The first day they are here they go grocery shopping and the kids go crazy.  They get to pick out 2 boxes of cereal each, whatever kind they want, they get snacks galore, yummy new recipes to try, and sugary colored 'juice' to drink.  This last time they got these generic Kool Aid drink things, you know the ones 100 for $2 (or something like that), they came in little plastic containers that looked like barrels.  Anyhoo I don't mind that my kids have those things on occasion, but today I found an empty one on the floor in the dining room, empty but still had residual red stuff inside.  "So what", you say...well if you know me you know we have an ant problem here, they are everywhere!  Bathroom, bedrooms, family room, living room, you name it.  However the one place they were not was on this empty drink container...not only were there NO ants swarming on it, there was a DEAD one inside...food for thought.

OMG! We got ants a couple of days ago and don't have any clue where they came from. We don't have hoards like you, but they are marching in one-by-one an hour at a time!

Today we went to our new ward.  We still have one more week in our current ward but we just wanted to check it out, get our faces known, and possibly drum up some help to unload a moving truck in a couple weeks. Can I just say it was amazing!  We've been to this ward before when Chris was on the High Council so there were a few familiar faces.  That wasn't the amazing part... Today is Chris Birthday! I'm awful about making plans and doing things for him so this year I have tried my best to be better. We are having a small party if you will , with some friends tonight and having his favorite apple cake with caramel topping. Sometimes life changes and we are all trying to catch up

From day one I could tell there was something different about L...he is my 4th child and right from the start I could tell.  I didn't know I could tell.  I knew he was different from my other kids but I didn't have a clue as to why, or what our future would bring. L was my most sweet baby.  All babies are sweet you say, all babies are different.  I know all babies are sweet but I mean this baby was SWEET.  He slept through the night almost from day one, to a mom 6 hours is like an eternity so I'm calling it through the night.  He rarely cried.  When he did and all the normal boxes were checked, feeding, changing, hot/cold, he just wanted to be left alone.  He would lay for hours on the floor on a blanket and watch life happen.  Then he would just fall asleep and take a nap and it was wonderful.  Being a mom of many kiddos it was like this baby was sent to me on purpose to make it easy.  Usually I have a baby and think "I'm not eve...
