Wild Animals



Yes, I'm talking about my kids... I took my wild animals to the zoo to see how REAL wild animals live!. We had free tickets, and Friday was a no school day, so it was a perfect combo.

When you walk into our zoo the first thing you come to is the Wallaby enclosure. You walk into it and the wallaby's are basically jumping free. I've never been in there and seen any on the move before. They are usually in the very far corner and half asleep. Well today they were on the move. One if them would not leave me alone. He was trying to get into my diaper bag (I had no food in there) and I was afraid he was going to bite my leg.


They also have a section with bugs and reptiles, and yes these are pictures of my girls touching COCKROACHES! UUUUGGGHHHHH! YUCK!!!!



After the zoo we ate lunch at the park. The kids had a great day and I did too even if I was a little sun and wind burned after the fact.

Today we went to our new ward.  We still have one more week in our current ward but we just wanted to check it out, get our faces known, and possibly drum up some help to unload a moving truck in a couple weeks. Can I just say it was amazing!  We've been to this ward before when Chris was on the High Council so there were a few familiar faces.  That wasn't the amazing part... 34 Reasons Why I Love You

Today is Chris Birthday! I'm awful about making plans and doing things for him so this year I have tried my best to be better. We are having a small party if you will , with some friends tonight and having his favorite apple cake with caramel topping. Sometimes life changes and we are all trying to catch up

From day one I could tell there was something different about L...he is my 4th child and right from the start I could tell.  I didn't know I could tell.  I knew he was different from my other kids but I didn't have a clue as to why, or what our future would bring. L was my most sweet baby.  All babies are sweet you say, all babies are different.  I know all babies are sweet but I mean this baby was SWEET.  He slept through the night almost from day one, to a mom 6 hours is like an eternity so I'm calling it through the night.  He rarely cried.  When he did and all the normal boxes were checked, feeding, changing, hot/cold, he just wanted to be left alone.  He would lay for hours on the floor on a blanket and watch life happen.  Then he would just fall asleep and take a nap and it was wonderful.  Being a mom of many kiddos it was like this baby was sent to me on purpose to make it easy.  Usually I have a baby and think "I'm not eve...
