I've bee introduced to gourmet cupcakes!

It's SOOO cool right now to make/eat/buy gourmet cupcakes.  I've seen them every where but have not had a chance to partake as of yet, well my wait was over tonight!  Our friend John went on vacation to the east coast and made a stop at the Oakmont Bakery in Oakmont Pennsylvania, let's just say that I would totally drive 10 hours for more of those cupcakes.  I had a Smores Cupcake and it was awesome!  If you know me at all you know that soon I will have myself a recipe for some gourmet cupcakes!!

Mine was one of the ones on the left.  The top middle was yellow cake with chocolate frosting, top right was raspberry, and bottom middle was red velvet.  All delish.

Today we went to our new ward.  We still have one more week in our current ward but we just wanted to check it out, get our faces known, and possibly drum up some help to unload a moving truck in a couple weeks. Can I just say it was amazing!  We've been to this ward before when Chris was on the High Council so there were a few familiar faces.  That wasn't the amazing part... 34 Reasons Why I Love You

Today is Chris Birthday! I'm awful about making plans and doing things for him so this year I have tried my best to be better. We are having a small party if you will , with some friends tonight and having his favorite apple cake with caramel topping. Sometimes life changes and we are all trying to catch up

From day one I could tell there was something different about L...he is my 4th child and right from the start I could tell.  I didn't know I could tell.  I knew he was different from my other kids but I didn't have a clue as to why, or what our future would bring. L was my most sweet baby.  All babies are sweet you say, all babies are different.  I know all babies are sweet but I mean this baby was SWEET.  He slept through the night almost from day one, to a mom 6 hours is like an eternity so I'm calling it through the night.  He rarely cried.  When he did and all the normal boxes were checked, feeding, changing, hot/cold, he just wanted to be left alone.  He would lay for hours on the floor on a blanket and watch life happen.  Then he would just fall asleep and take a nap and it was wonderful.  Being a mom of many kiddos it was like this baby was sent to me on purpose to make it easy.  Usually I have a baby and think "I'm not eve...
