It's that time again
School started for 3 of my kids today. I had one going to Jr. High, one in 2nd and one in Kindy. Kindy only lasted 10 minutes today so tomorrow is the "real" first day.
K was so nervous to start middle school that she cried herself to sleep last night. This morning she was a wreck trying to find the right things to wear, including but not limited to the right kind of socks. You would think socks would be a no-brainer but they were the hardest part of the whole outfit. She ended up looking fabulous and had a really great day. At the beginning of summer I was thinking how could they send my little girl to Jr. High so soon, but somehow this summer she has grown so much that she seemed just as big and ready as the rest of those kids there. Funny how it all took care of itself.
O, well what can I say about O, she loves school. Always has and probably always will. I think it's the social thing for her and the fact that her teachers love her cuz she's a bit of a suck up. She was excited about the teacher she got because she had beautiful blonde hair and pretty shoes. The dress she has on in the pictures is one that I made for her for the first day of school. She picked the fabric and I was worried that she would look a lot like a circus performer but it really turned out cute. It really captures her style.
C, was buzzin' today he was so excited for school. He can't wait to go tomorrow and stay at school all day. He doesn't want me to drive him, he's excited about the bus. Luckily he has O's former Kindy teacher and she rocks, so I know he's in good hands.
L is taking me to breakfast tomorrow, then maybe a nap. We have until 3:00...what shall we do????
This is what Momma looked like on their first day, note the big smile!!!
