Baptism day

In all my excitement of my parents being here and having my laundry room remodeled, and the weather being nicer I completely forgot to post about O's big day!  She was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Sunday September 26th.  This is a big day in the life of anyone, especially in the life of the 8 year olds in our church.  To prepare for this day we talk a lot about baptism and it's importance, she is involved in the planning of the program for the day, and she has an interview with the Bishop of our ward.  She was sooooo excited, the Bishop even said he doesn't think he's ever seen anyone so happy to be baptized!

We are so excited for O to be a part of this church that means so much to our family.  We know that this was a great choice for her to make and are so glad that my parents could be a part of it.  She had a lot of friends and teachers and members of our ward show up to support her.

It's always so amazing to me that something so quick and simple is so important to our eternal happiness.  After it was over she came up out of the water into the restroom and said, "That felt SO good!" and "I forgot to spit out my gum!".  She was lucky to be able to be baptized by her dad (mainly because of his bad back we were worried that he wouldn't be able to do it), and confirmed a member by him also.








Cute O all clean and baptized!  We love you little girl.

Today we went to our new ward.  We still have one more week in our current ward but we just wanted to check it out, get our faces known, and possibly drum up some help to unload a moving truck in a couple weeks. Can I just say it was amazing!  We've been to this ward before when Chris was on the High Council so there were a few familiar faces.  That wasn't the amazing part... 34 Reasons Why I Love You

Today is Chris Birthday! I'm awful about making plans and doing things for him so this year I have tried my best to be better. We are having a small party if you will , with some friends tonight and having his favorite apple cake with caramel topping. Sometimes life changes and we are all trying to catch up

From day one I could tell there was something different about L...he is my 4th child and right from the start I could tell.  I didn't know I could tell.  I knew he was different from my other kids but I didn't have a clue as to why, or what our future would bring. L was my most sweet baby.  All babies are sweet you say, all babies are different.  I know all babies are sweet but I mean this baby was SWEET.  He slept through the night almost from day one, to a mom 6 hours is like an eternity so I'm calling it through the night.  He rarely cried.  When he did and all the normal boxes were checked, feeding, changing, hot/cold, he just wanted to be left alone.  He would lay for hours on the floor on a blanket and watch life happen.  Then he would just fall asleep and take a nap and it was wonderful.  Being a mom of many kiddos it was like this baby was sent to me on purpose to make it easy.  Usually I have a baby and think "I'm not eve...
