ADD Post
This post is going to be Blogging ADD! I'm gonna jump all over the spectrum of things to talk about that you are not going to know what will hit you next.
First up is my hubby sporting his new suit! Doesn't he look important? His mom and dad were very generous and bought him two new suits for his new calling at church. In case you don't live close, or weren't paying attention in Sacrament Meeting last week Chris is the newest member of our Stake High Council. He will be taking on a lot of speaking assignments in the different wards and branches in the area, and assisting our Stake President (along with the rest of the Council). He is very nervous about this new call, but excited to serve at the same time. This will mean a lot more travel for us but will give us the chance to see those exotic, small, Midwestern towns, like Canton!! Exciting times, I know you are jealous!
Next up on my Blogging ADD post is a post about my Crafting ADD. I don't think I have ACTUAL ADD, but I am sure that the symptoms/tendencies seep into several aspects of my life, like crafting. I read WAY too many craft/design/sewing/ModPodge/decorating blogs, it's embarrassing. Soooo after I read these wonderful blogs that pop up on my Google Reader EVERY day, I have the urge to run right out to the craft store and buy all the supplies I need for every project I have seen and make 20 of said craft right then! Of course I don't run right out to the craft store and get my supplies right thenmost of the supplies I already have in my craft room and make 20 of said craft, unless they are just sooooo adorable I cannot resist, like these little Gingerbread boys and girls...
Isnt' she cute with her little art T-shirt on? (above not below!)

I ended up with only 4 at the moment only because I ran out of felt! My friend ordered 12 more and I cannot wait to hit Joann's tomorrow and make more of these little buggers! So cute I want to actually eat them.
Another thing that is actually so cute I want to eat him is C. Really sometimes it takes all my will power to NOT bite him, he's so sweet!
Have you figured out what he is doing yet? He's wearing a masking tape mustache, HELLO, don't you have one in your wardrobe? He wore that mustache for several days, he even wore it to school but his teacher made him take it off in class, so he kept it in his back pack. He was only a little miffed at the kids on the bus that made fun of him. They just don't know how cool he really is. Sadly C has my families genes and may not be able to grow a real mustache until he is 30 (ask my brother Bryan).
This is where L spends most of his day, on top of the kitchen table. WHAT you say? You let your 15 month old on top of the kitchen table...YEP! I can't keep him down, in fact I can't keep him off of anything. He is constantly climbing, constantly! He's been on his dresser, C's dresser, the toilet (better on than in I always say), the couch, desk, stairs, piano, ottoman, beds, diaper pail, you name it he's climbed it. Hopefully I won't find him on top of the fridge like I did his big sister K when she was 18 months old. (Yeah, you read that right the FRIDGE). Oh, and did I mention how happy he is on the table? Happy as a...dinner plate?
Just thought this was a cute self portrait of K.
We made some salt dough ornaments over the Thanksgiving Holiday. They turned out cute and the kids had a blast painting them.
L often gets on his belly and does stuff, draws, reads a book, hits a key board, you know kids stuff. It's so cute when he does it. He can also point to his nose when you ask him, he can high 5, fist bump, dance, and blow kisses. He loves baths and tries to strip his own clothes off. He HATES having his diaper changed, wearing shoes, and being left out by the other kids. He loves going places and when you pull his jacket out he gets excited, kinda like a dog when you pull out the leash.
One day we were at McDonalds having breakfast and I got to talking to an older lady there and she commented how good he was being at the restaurant. After we ate we went to 3 stores and were gone for about 2 hours. At our last store we were waiting in line and the lady behind me says, "Hey didn't I see you at McDonald's this morning?" Sure enough it was the same woman and she was shocked that he was still ok with being out shopping. My kids are GREAT shoppers!
Anyhoo I guess that's enough Blogging ADD for tonight. I'm tired and I'm going to bed! Night all.
