Sacks By Syndy

Hello all you faithful website lookers!  I just wanted you to know that I have cancelled my website for my purses.  sacksbysyndy.com no longer exists!  That means all of you who have my button on your blogs can delete it because it no longer works!  Thank you for all your support and help.

This does not mean that I am out of the purse business, it just means that I was paying for a website that not very many people looked at and I very rarely (we are talking like once every 2 years) got an order from.  So if you need purses let me know I'm still sewing, I didn't get rid of my machine for goodness sake!  I'm thinking of making a blog it will be easier to maintain and FREE!  So there you have it.

34 Reasons Why I Love You

Today is Chris Birthday! I'm awful about making plans and doing things for him so this year I have tried my best to be better. We are having a small party if you will , with some friends tonight and having his favorite apple cake with caramel topping. I also wanted to give him a little extra and thought I needed to publicly share some of the reasons why I love him. I'm not big on PDA , public displays of affection not the little handheld computer he carries around. So this is very different for me. 34 Reason Why I love You... 34. You like the same TV shows I do 33. If you don’t like the TV show you watch it anyway 32. You are a great Dad 31. You take care of me when I’m sick (even though I’d rather disappear when you are sick) 30. You are very tidy (OK I’m not) 29. You love my cooking 28. If you don’t love my cooking you are kind about it 27. You can cook 26. You support me in my calling no matter how many nights I’m gone, and it's a lot. 25. You encourage me to go t...

Today we went to our new ward.  We still have one more week in our current ward but we just wanted to check it out, get our faces known, and possibly drum up some help to unload a moving truck in a couple weeks. Can I just say it was amazing!  We've been to this ward before when Chris was on the High Council so there were a few familiar faces.  That wasn't the amazing part... For the last 2 1/2 years Chris has struggled going to church.  The first year was due to the fact that he was in the hospital and fighting for his life and was unable to physically attend.  Frankly the whole family struggled that year and we stayed home for months because it was too painful to go.  The last year and a half Chris has struggled due to anxiety and panic about church.  He still has a testimony and loves the Gospel, he helps get the kids ready for church and attends when he can but for the most part I'm a single mom when it comes to church attendance.  He cann...

Sometimes life changes and we are all trying to catch up

From day one I could tell there was something different about L...he is my 4th child and right from the start I could tell.  I didn't know I could tell.  I knew he was different from my other kids but I didn't have a clue as to why, or what our future would bring. L was my most sweet baby.  All babies are sweet you say, all babies are different.  I know all babies are sweet but I mean this baby was SWEET.  He slept through the night almost from day one, to a mom 6 hours is like an eternity so I'm calling it through the night.  He rarely cried.  When he did and all the normal boxes were checked, feeding, changing, hot/cold, he just wanted to be left alone.  He would lay for hours on the floor on a blanket and watch life happen.  Then he would just fall asleep and take a nap and it was wonderful.  Being a mom of many kiddos it was like this baby was sent to me on purpose to make it easy.  Usually I have a baby and think "I'm not eve...
