Mommy's Mumbling's #8

1.  I've come to realize that I do need a few things for this baby but I have no motivation to go to the store and get them.  They are things that can totally be put on hold, like wash cloths, and baby wash, and umm...diapers!

2.  I'm looking forward to having my hubby home for 2 whole weeks after CH is born.  It will be nice to sleep in (at least until school starts), and not have too much of a routine.

3.  It's been nice having Robyn here, she's a big help and my house is very tidy.

4.  The weather is FINALLY cooling off!  It's about time that we see the 80's again.

5.  Everything left on my To-Do list is being put on hold.  Nothing catastrophic is going to happen if these things don't get done.

6.  Sometimes women who are having their 5th baby do not go into labor early, this is contrary to popular Dr. theory.

7.  Just watched L's birth video, I'm not really sure I wanna do this again!

8.  I say the funniest stuff when I'm on drugs.

9.  Lately we've been in need of a dresser for O and a new bike for C.  Found both things on the curb, for free!!  LOVE CURB FINDS!!!

10.  I've only been garage sale-ing a couple of times this summer, guess that's what happens when you have to drag a toddler around with you, it's not fun anymore.

Today we went to our new ward.  We still have one more week in our current ward but we just wanted to check it out, get our faces known, and possibly drum up some help to unload a moving truck in a couple weeks. Can I just say it was amazing!  We've been to this ward before when Chris was on the High Council so there were a few familiar faces.  That wasn't the amazing part... Today is Chris Birthday! I'm awful about making plans and doing things for him so this year I have tried my best to be better. We are having a small party if you will , with some friends tonight and having his favorite apple cake with caramel topping. I also wanted to give him a little extra and thought I needed to publicly share some of the reasons why I love him. Sometimes life changes and we are all trying to catch up

From day one I could tell there was something different about L...he is my 4th child and right from the start I could tell.  I didn't know I could tell.  I knew he was different from my other kids but I didn't have a clue as to why, or what our future would bring. L was my most sweet baby.  All babies are sweet you say, all babies are different.  I know all babies are sweet but I mean this baby was SWEET.  He slept through the night almost from day one, to a mom 6 hours is like an eternity so I'm calling it through the night.  He rarely cried.  When he did and all the normal boxes were checked, feeding, changing, hot/cold, he just wanted to be left alone.  He would lay for hours on the floor on a blanket and watch life happen.  Then he would just fall asleep and take a nap and it was wonderful.  Being a mom of many kiddos it was like this baby was sent to me on purpose to make it easy.  Usually I have a baby and think "I'm not eve...
