Ch, Ch, Ch, Ch, Changes....
I swear that I have the best intentions when it comes to writing in my blog...I SWEAR! Time gets away from me so easily and I'm afraid it's only going to get worse.
This summer has been super fun. I've enjoyed having the kids home a lot. We got into a really great routine. K wanted to join the swim team in High School so we spent the summer training and practicing. This girl has never had a swim lesson in her life and I was worried that she would be really far behind. We got together with her Young Women's President and worked almost every day. Between going to Bev's and swimming mornings at SF Pool swimming has been on our minds for months! I have to say that even though I did not enjoy getting up early most mornings to hit the pool by 7:30 am I did enjoy the time spent with just K. She has grown so much and it was nice to hear her talk about stuff. She has changed her plans for the future in the last few months and those plans are very nice!
In addition to having a HS freshman this year I also have L going to PreK. Today is his first day and he rides the bus. He's been so excited to go to "Real Preschool", he was outside 15 minutes before the bus time! I have to admit that as much as I struggle with that little guy, I worry about him the most. My other kiddos can handle themselves and know when to behave and know what is socially acceptable...not L, he is impulsive and curious and pushes the limits on rules. We'll see how this preK thing goes.
My kids are pretty much adorable!
